Tila RM Ward No. 8 has been declared as “Child Marriage Free Ward”

On 5th June 2025, Tila Rural Municipality Ward No. 8 was officially declared a Child Marriage Free Ward. This initiative was led by KIRDARC Nepal, in close coordination with the local government, and collaboration with World Vision International Nepal and SAHAS Nepal. We believe that this milestone marks a united step towards protecting children’s rights.
