Preparatory meeting for World Humanitarian Day 2026

An initial preparatory meeting was held today at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) to kick off plans for the commemoration of World Humanitarian Day 2026!
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Pradip Kumar Koirala, CEO of NDRRMA. Under NDRRMA’s leadership and in close collaboration with diverse multi-stakeholders KIRDARC Nepal is coordinating the event. The meeting brought together representatives from government line ministries, UN agencies, Development Partners, and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). Together, we are building a unified front to strengthen humanitarian action, resilience, and localization in Nepal. #NDRRMA #WHD2026
