From the Himalayas to the lowlands, KIRDARC Nepal stands with communities amplifying local voices!!!

In Geruwa and Madhuwan Municipalities, Bardiya, we conducted “Naadi ra Naari” Awareness-Raising Workshops in collaboration with Local Government, The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) and Tharu Mahila Upliftment Centre (TWUC).

Naadi ra Naari is a participatory artivism initiative that amplifies the lived experiences of women and youth on rivers, water access, and climate change, creating inclusive spaces for dialogue, confidence-building, and creative expression.

In the Lower Karnali, women manage water, respond to floods and droughts, and sustain community water systems—yet their knowledge is often missing from formal governance. Through creative workshops and public exhibitions, community stories are transformed into artistic outputs for advocacy and gender-responsive water governance!!
