दुर्गमका ३ हजार बढी विपन्न बालबालिकालाई शैक्षिक सामग्री सहयोग
January 2, 2026
Educational materials were provided to 3,376 underprivileged, orphaned, disabled, and at-risk children in Jumla and Kalikot districts to improve school access and retention in remote areas. Through Plan International’s support and KIRDARC Nepal’s Promoting Equitable Access to Education Project, children from grades 6–10 (and grades 1–10 for children with disabilities) received school bags, uniforms, notebooks, pens, geometry sets, and other learning supplies worth approximately NPR 110.9 million. The support targeted the most vulnerable groups including Dalit children, children without parents, those at risk of child marriage, and students with disabilities and resulted in significantly improved school attendance, motivation, and continuity, with schools reporting regular attendance among children who had previously been irregular or at risk of dropping out.
